How much ml of topical finasteride should I use? Bc if you have a concentration of 1 mg per ml then I think 1 mg is not enough to cover all balding areas. I think if you use a concentration of 0.2 mg per ml then you could use 5 ml of solution to use 1 mg and that would allowe you to cover all balding areas.

Great content! I've been considering a HT but can't stabilize my hair loss. It has been stabilized since 2013 (oral Fin, topical Min) but I. 2020 I began to lose ground quickly. In 2023 I began oral Min (5mg) and oral (Dutasteride) but unfortunately after more than 1 year, I'm still miniaturizing and regressing. I'm I q candidate for a HT in this situation? Or should I switch to topicals to try and maintain/stabilize first?

Thank you. These videos are great. Funnily enough, they've convinced me not to get a hair transplant and get used to shaving my head. It's not been easy but I am nigh on certain that it's the easier route. To those who do get their transplants though, I wish you all the best. For me, the expense (time, energy and $s) is not offset by how much I think it would improve my life. Having been bald for a year now, I have noticed some negatives but they're actually quite small in the scheme of things. Female attention was the biggest worry. And whilst I think it's reduced. It hasn't to the extent that I feared. Not even close.

Very low graft placement per cm2. This may look nice from the angle of end photo but up close under light all you'd see is scalp and this patient would require a second procedure. I myself have now had 2 surgery's in two different countries and they all lie to you and tell you they can do 50-70 grafts per cm2 and generally they take your money you end up with 19-20 per cm2. I'm not sure if this is because they aren't as skilled as they claim, they are just ripping you off or they want you to come back for further surgeries so they make more money

Dutasteride is over kill for the problem .I'd rather keep using finasteride til maybe if one day it won't be as effective .why use the last resort ,and there's no back tracking to finasteride than if Dutasteride get to be less effective over the years as this will be a lifetime commitment .also the US version of Dutasteride is a liquid gel cap so don't see how you could titrate that .when I first started my hair regrowth journey I did start with Dutasteride ,but I got mine from India they had an actual pill that you could cut ,but it also contained tamsolsin. It effects your ejaculate to Going into your bladder .not good if your looking to father a child one day

How's your topical Dutasteride going ? I knew it was working well for you a while back any changes since the 1 year update ? my old oral side effects seem to have returned at 15 months on topical for some reason which is disappointing. may try xyonhealth and see if its a quality issue.
